I saw my first BRM "out in the wild" today, V773 KCE heading north on the M11 at lunchtime.

It's in very good condition. Do we know this car?

Out of interest, what were you driving, in which direction and with or without additional blue lights?

Ha, true! I very nearly did take the BRM but for the job I was doing, I needed something I'm less precious about, the seats in particular which previously I've marked when doing a messy job.

Yeah that's the one, the road rocket.

Apart from a BRM that used to be parked on a driveway quite near me, yours is the first BRM I've seen on the road that wasn't going to or coming from a car show. I had it in scope from about half a mile behind.

It was interesting to see how one looks from a distance. The thing I noticed most was how insignificant the boot sticker is, such a shame Rover didn't give it a nice chrome edged version, but I understand how a minimalist sticker is much more motorsport.

The boot sticker looks better when the car has been washed!

    I may be biased.
