Got your name on it Pat !
Oooh! What a low blow! But funny
He is a very tall fella.....................
I’ve got a 160 in Spectre, number 64/64
Definitely go for one with AP’s and also fit a servo bracket, a cheap but excellent mod, go on YouTube and see how much the servo flexes you will be horrified Pat
Not really a TF but looked at ZS 120 today. 40k on the clock very nice car indeed! However so many little problems with it that I would need to fix, ripped driver seat, wrong exhaust all the badges are crap, wheels need work, rust spots in certain places etc
My 90k 75 is in much better condition in fact near perfect bodywork wise, yes it may need a clutch, but decided that’s it, I will keep it and do the clutch cylinder etc fed up with looking at cars that people want top money for but are worse than mine!
I know how you feel..
Yes, but........classics of the future though.....values can only go up.......great investment opportunity.........innit?
But my 75 is in better condition and frankly has a nice feel to it, I don’t need to do 100 jobs just to get it up to standard! It’s a daily drive so miles will go it! I am thinking that’s it I have my forever cars??!! Or perhaps V8 75... don’t want auto, V8 ZT want cruise control.. and both stupid money.
I think when No3 is in better condition, the BGT be will resprayed
Better the devil you know
I'm of a similar mindset. The ZS is worth nothing to anyone else, is rough around the edges, doesn't have steering wheel controls, bluetooth gubbins, launch control or anything too fancy. It's an imperfect car that I have owned from new, has paid for itself a couple of times and still makes me smile when I drive / go towards / walk away from......and even when I hear it if someone else is driving.
Additional BRMness and TFing leaves me wanting for nothing.....especially if Mrs. Snail lets me drive her Jag every now and again (usually to put diesel in)
I think the TF is a nice car, I still think I should have a drive in a stepspeed one as I like that gearbox a lot. It would make it more practical, for a lot of the journeys round here. Mrs Fun May even drive that! There is a stepspeed one at Summit garage but they want almost 5K for an o2 it has 37k on the clock and is yellow but that’s too steep
Is the private collection referred to in the link anything to do with your mate?
Looks like Yves storage facility.
