Despite the missing person ( :p) I believe we had 14 in the original line up, plus there was 2 more out in the wild.

After our first two left, T25 BRM(?) joined us, putting our numbers briefly back up to 13!

So in total I make that 15 who parked with us and 17 in total attendance at PoL.

I'm glad to hear @Bonnie@Bonnie made it home OK, did @Jona@Jona also get back?

Does anyone know who the MGFs were who joined us at the Bowl? They followed me out and split up the convoy, leaving at least Al, Bonnie, Ray and Peasantslife with their own mini convoy.

I ask because on the way in, after a very nice truck driver let out our entire convoy at the roundabout, an impatient other decided to barge through and nearly ploughed straight into the red F, with lots of braking involved. Thankfully everyone seemed OK and the F caught us up, only to be halted by the marshalls to halt the inbound traffic behind me to let us all in together and I never saw him again.

@Jona@Jona got home ok and the car looks fine!
The MGF who broke our line and convoy, I have no idea who he was and he did not as I recall talk to anyone! However there was a post on the Evil Book that looked rather like him on BRM page saying it was good to meet people :hmmm:

Sorry my Dad drives the green one. Didn't realise they'd split convoy up. I'll be having words.

Cracking day at POL, me and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed it and we made a point of stopping past the front gates on the way home.

Well, it didnt feel as if they had intentionally put us out by the scrubland away from everyone, but lets use this to push for a better location next year!

Dont believe I mentioned, I met a fellow who told me he worked fror TPR/Rover on the chassis development of the BRM's. I've made contact subsequently, so next time I'm in the midlands I'll try to get in and see him. As he was walking our line up we got talking about damper performance on them which alerted me to realising he had expert knowledge of the subject...

Mr PScan came round and spoke with us too in the afternoon!

There was also an admirirer in the Bowl car park, a gent who said he used to work on the line for building them. He said he might pop over to Cofton Park, but I don't know if he did.

I was reading an article yesterday and planning permissions has been granted for a housing development on the former Longbridge site, very sad that we don't manufacture anymore.
