We are lucky this year to get our own promo code for Practical Classics and Restoration Show 2023, at the NEC.
Please use this code when booking your tickets to give yourself a nice discount and also help the club!
We look forward to seeing you there! C714D1C0-5911-407E-BE7F-35F1E309F022.jpeg

I can now confirm we have a stand at the above show! We will be repairing @GT-@GT- s car sunroof blind (headling and sunroof roof cassette out) and possibly (if time) a head lining recover, from another vehicle. Whilst @Antony Parsons@Antony Parsons will be on hand for some valeting demos.
More info to follow when I have it :)

That reminds me I need to check what materials I have still and if they're any good.

On the plus side, the supplier is usually at the show, too

Or depart an hour or so after show close - by which time the booth will be unmanned and the barriers up. (Ignore the shouting tannoy exhorting you to leave, have a sincere and in depth discussion with a stand or stall holder. Then have a beer at weatherspoons with the hoards of inbound evening event goers and finally walk out to your car.)
Or if not quite so inclined to run horse and coach through the system. Park at one of the stations close by who charge waaay less for a day and take a train to Birm. International Station and walk in. That would work out coming from Peterborough, Stansted, Luton Gatwick, Prestwick too...

In the olden days, before it became work we used to park at Hounslow and take the train to Earls Court. Once we just followed the crowds and miraculously popped up in the middle of the show without even paying entry!

    Tickets booked for the saturday:broon:
Think we’re going to park at Marston Green train station or Hampton and get train to NEC. Cheaper/free parking

Good plan....H in A would be my choice.
Hopefully we shall meet prior, but I shall also be there on our (not BRM) 'autojumble' stall in Hall4.

Parking hopefully won't be my issue, more how we move about once parked up

Hotel is now booked, so somewhere to sleep at least.

    On a different note...

Do we need to consider which tools we need for the event?

I have approximately this much headlining left.

I've also found my black leather trim for the interior and the red leather repair kit. If I can find the vanish bar, I could find plenty of things to do around the main agenda item.

Also, I have spare bits of BRM trim sitting about, are any of those useful to display?
