Where would we be without Tractors? No Astons since the Feltham days. Not a single Lamborghini, and I bet if I were to dig deeper I'd find more philanthropy from that world supplementing the passenger car world. Of course Uncle Henry... Also there certainly would not be the wealth and comfort of living we all enjoy without the humble tractor.
Agree!! As a young boy our neighbours were friends with David Brown!! There is a picture somewhere in my loft with myself and my Dad with David Brown, stood in front of Dads new 1212 DB tractor!! Of course as a very young child, (and actually the same today) I was more interested in the what seemed like a giant tractor of that time! Edit: just to add, like cars and trucks, for me the 1990’s was the era of great tractors! The machines of today are mere comfortable seats in which any Tom, Dick or Harriet, can sit and do a decent job! The days of skill and pride in farming are gone!
