Come to think of it, I don't think I've seen a single F or TF club stand at the event. By the same token, I don't see any MGs at all really, we are surrounded by Rovers. However, both the MGCC and MGOC are present in the hall on the other side of the event and may well have them represented.
@Hamness, you could have taken a trophy with you yesterday! @BRMFUN said he will take one for you if you still want it.
For the forum members and those people who have helped promote to car and the community, I'll stick with the original estimate in post #1, of £20. If you have a PayPal account, I'm happy to oblige, we can trade details via PM if you need them.
I'm enjoying see the updates and pics. Hope everyone is still having a great time on Day 3 in the "Big Brother House". Is there much going on with the Rover Sports Register or 200 and 400 Owners Club stands? Are all those Rover SD1s on the SD1 Club display finished in red?
@GT- and @Roverlike Thanks so much for posting up this pics, they show what I was missing. @GT- Thanks for doing the rounds of some of the Rover Clubs. Those SD1 Vitesses, the lovely 216 Vitesse EFI and the P5s are definitely personal favourites of mine alongside the 'green and orange'!
Not a problem, except trying to get a 'clear' shot from the crowds! I'm on a quick stop on the way home, but it's been a great weekend for me and I'm very thankful to everyone I've interacted with this weekend. The big shout outs will goto @BRMFUN who puts in countless hours of paperwork and communications to even get us in the door, let alone the time he spends for the entire event itself. Also to @Jona ? (I can't seem to find a name to tag) for the amazing work on the VVC head demo which continues to draw in a crowd and conversations. And also to @Birtie7271 and son for also bringing car, equipment, snacks and manpower for the whole event, too! All shout outs to @clansman and @Hamness for their time volunteering to man the stand. I've lost track of everyone else who has been along, but there has been many! Well done all, good show!
