Had a lovely trip out to Newton Court Cider factory and cafe this morning with the above club, in Press car 3, lots of interest, and as ever a varied pack of cars :) IMG_8447.jpeg IMG_8464.jpeg IMG_8465.jpeg IMG_8466.jpeg

Just back from last event of the year and it has been pi..ing down for 24 hours, not so many ventured out and most turned up in more modern cars, we did the same and went in the Jag  however this meant there was a few different cars there which was good to see… the BWM was one of only 69 in the UK, and it did 0-60 rather quickly with a massive engine….the rather nice thunderbird was for sale at £15k I think it was good value, it looked like it had a good restoration recently! The old Landy was best in show for me, Mrs Fun liked the TVR Griffith in yellow, but can’t see my long legs getting under the steering wheel of that!! I think that colour or similar has just become trendy now, after the last proper Defenders!

Yes I agree, they did series 3 in that colour but even then it could have been later ones just before defenders came out in around 1983ish.

Dont think I'd have mounted the front indicators just there...And why worry if the T-bird isnt quite the correct shade of green? (for a Land Rover).

My mate uses the little lights as the indicators, not worried about colour nice to see one that not painted in deep bronze green, however some of these Landover folk are proper into them being original.

HUE is a light green too, so not every one is in BMC engine paint....
